We have been funded, in late 2005, to investigate atmospheric chemistry that occurs at the transition zone between the land and sea (or sea ice) in Northern Alaska. This interaction between terrestrial and marine systems leads to unique chemistry and physics. Our project is collaborative between scientist at UAF, the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) and the University of Michigan.
